Movie Time! Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs

Here's what made my day a bit fun aside from working with dogs... Early yesterday morning I got a little mmm... inis? so before the day ended I just had to watch a movie...

This is my second 3d movie and I enjoyed it much better than he 1st one, this was in Gateway mall, I think it helped that I got a seat right at the middle.

Just got it last December, used it for my 1st 21k and it tells more than just time! it's also a heart rate monitor! Pretty useful thing that you can wear around your FINGER! Amazing noh!?

My 1st Half Marathon! CONQUERED!

Finished 4 minutes short of 3 hours, I conquered my 1st half marathon last December 20, 2009! it was only this afternoon that RBC was able to send me the pics! So funny that it was such a momentous event for us but we were just too tired to smile and have our pics taken! So we just let our "Avatars" Anizo and Lem do the posing for us and yeah, they did really well!

Meet LEM!

Short for Lego man, he was a gift given to me on my 6th birthday (and I turned 26 last month), sad truth is I kinda forgot about him when I was growing up, luckily he reappeared again after the Ondoy turned our house upside-down! Now that were together again, I promise to bring him along in the running events that I join! Now Anizo will have a running buddy!

Finally watched a movie ALONE!!! + Christmas trees and Christmas village!

Yesterday, the last day of 2009 I decided to watch a movie alone, it was a long time coming, now there will be no reason for me to miss the movies worth watching on big screen! The movie I watched was Avatar in IMAX SM north Edsa, story was very well written but I think I should have watched the movie in a non-3d cinema. The 3d effect was just too much for my eyes, they were too tired from adjusting on different depth of fields. Will try it one more time to know if I was just sitting in the wrong side of the theater.



I also took pics of the Christmas trees on display in SM the block, I think there was a Christmas tree making contest that should be made out of recycled materials and here are my favorites...

Race Conquered!!! Urbanathlon '09 (Anizo's a star!)

It's my second Urbanathlon and I got really tired! Great run though! Funny coz I was in a hurry to eat the free breakfast!

My Teaching Life...

Some of the pics here are from my early days of teaching in Ingenium School Marikina, this post may have a lot of pics since I'd like to summarize the details through visuals. So here you go!


Now that I have to go, one really important thing I have learned is to pray... I thought I was already praying, saying thank you every night for what I have in life, asking was something I don't do a lot. Believe me, I pray most of the time, to express my gratitude. Recent events in my life got me asking for help. One of my co-teachers advised me to try asking for it through prayers, she said I just might get my answer. And I did. Loud and clear.
