My new Hero!

01.19.12 & 01.30.12 Kahati, George and Myself

My new Idol Mr. George Baker had a seminar on agility in Betterdog Canine Behavior and Training Center last January 30, 2012. There he showed us simple exercises that will make a big difference in your training sessions and will greatly affect you and your partner dog's performance come competition day!

He also gave each and everyone of us personalized tips on working with our very own partner dog's challenging aspects like re-activity and focus! Simple but effective tips only a true veteran can give!

Thanks Mr. Baker!

Separation Anxiety is...

(12.28.11)

According to Merriam Webster Online:

a form of anxiety experienced by a young child and caused by separation from a significant nurturant figure and typically a parent or from familiar surroundings.

Kahati, this is also what I feel now I'm gonna have to leave you for 4 days in the hotel.

Kahati the nurturant, Me as the child

Mom, Dad, sisters, 3 cats, 3 turtles, 3 chickens and Alab will welcome you with great excitement as soon as we clear up some kalat in the house and come up with an appropriate resting place for you!

Introducing, Kahati...

Meet Kahati (Shareholder in English) my 2nd canine companion and a promising athlete. I called him Kahati since he now shares my love, time and attention with Alab

Kahati was rescued from an environment no living thing would want to be in. An environment so bad he broke his right hind leg. He's fully recovered now and loves doing agility as you can see in the pic

Thanks to my friends who rescued him and allowing me to be his guardian. I am also celebrating his 1st birthday this November :)

Watch out for more on Kahati and the rest of my animal companions here ;)
